All-on-6® Dental Implants: Maximum Stability for a Flawless Smile

If you are facing the loss of all your teeth, or if you are tired of the instability of removable dentures, you deserve a solution that feels as strong and natural as the teeth you were born with.

At Gardens Implant & Cosmetic Dentistry, we offer the All-on-6® Dental Implant solution, a premium full-arch restoration that provides the ultimate in stability and bone preservation.

Similar to the All-on-4® concept, this procedure replaces an entire arch of teeth with a fixed, non-removable bridge. However, by using six strategically placed implants instead of four, we distribute the biting force more evenly across the jaw. This offers superior strength, especially for patients with a strong bite or softer bone.

Why Choose Gardens for Your All-on-6®?

A full-mouth restoration is a complex procedure that requires advanced surgical and prosthetic skills. Here is why patients in Palm Beach Gardens trust Dr. Hans Almanzar for their transformation:

  • Implant Mastery: Dr. Hans Almanzar is a Master of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (MICOI). He has the expertise to determine if the additional support of six implants is the right choice for your specific anatomy.

  • Advanced Technology: We use CBCT 3D imaging to map your bone density with precision. This allows us to place the two additional posterior implants safely, maximizing your bite force capability.

  • Bone Health Focus: Using six implants stimulates more of your jawbone than four, helping to better preserve your facial structure and prevent the "sunken" look of aging.

PROCEDURE

The All-on-6® Procedure

We have streamlined this advanced treatment to be efficient and comfortable, often giving you new teeth in just one day.

  1. 3D Planning: We perform a comprehensive scan to ensure you have sufficient bone volume for six implants.

  2. Surgical Placement: Dr. Almanzar places six titanium implants into the jawbone. This provides a broader base of support for your new teeth. This is typically done under IV Sedation for your complete comfort.

  3. Immediate Teeth: In most cases, we attach a high-quality temporary fixed bridge to the implants on the same day. You leave our office with a secure, beautiful smile.

  4. Final Restoration: After 3-4 months of healing, we replace the temporary bridge with your permanent, custom-milled Zirconia bridge, the strongest, most aesthetic material available.

TESTIMONIAL

Patient Success Story: Unshakable Confidence

Actual Patient Scenario

The Challenge: "William," a 62-year-old former athlete, had a very strong bite but failing teeth due to wear and decay. He wanted a fixed solution but was worried that four implants might not be enough to withstand his chewing force.

The Solution: Dr. Almanzar evaluated William's bone and bite force. He recommended an All-on-6® solution to provide extra reinforcement and distribute the pressure more evenly.

The Result: The surgery went smoothly. Six months later, William received his final zirconia bridge. He can eat tough steak, corn nuts, and apples with zero hesitation. He told us, "It feels solid as a rock. I don't even think about my teeth anymore, I just live my life."

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Is All-on-6 better than All-on-4?

It depends on the patient. All-on-6 offers more stability and support because it uses two extra implants. It is often preferred for the upper jaw (where the bone is softer) or for patients with a heavy bite. All-on-4 is an excellent solution for patients who have less bone in the back of the jaw and want to avoid bone grafting.

Do I need bone grafting?

Because All-on-6 requires placing implants further back in the jaw, you might need a sinus lift or bone grafting if your bone volume is low. We will determine this during your 3D scan. If you want to avoid grafting, All-on-4 might be the alternative.

How long does it last?

The titanium implants are designed to be permanent. The zirconia bridge is incredibly durable and resistant to wear. With proper hygiene and regular check-ups, this solution can last for decades, often the rest of your life.

Is it harder to clean?

No. You brush your new teeth just like natural teeth. We will show you how to use a water flosser or "super floss" to clean the small space between the bridge and your gums. It is much easier and cleaner than a denture.

What is the cost difference?

Because All-on-6 involves two additional implants and potentially more complex surgery, it is typically slightly more expensive than All-on-4. However, many patients find the added peace of mind and stability worth the investment.
