Yes. Dr. Shakya is welcoming new general and family dentistry patients in Palm Beach Gardens. New patient exams typically include digital X-rays, a comprehensive exam, a cleaning if you are healthy, and an oral cancer screening.

Do you see kids?

Yes. Dr. Shakya treats kids, teens, and adults. Children are usually ready for a first dental visit by age one or when their first tooth appears, and we keep early visits short, friendly, and easy.

How often should I come in for a cleaning?

Most healthy adults do well with a cleaning and exam every six months. If you have a history of gum disease, heart conditions, diabetes, or you smoke, Dr. Shakya may recommend visits every three to four months.

Do you do same-day fillings?

Yes. Small cavities are usually treated the same day as the exam. Larger restorations like crowns or bridges are scheduled separately so we have time to do them right.

What does the $99 new-patient special include?

For new patients without insurance, $99 covers your comprehensive exam, full set of digital X-rays, and a standard cleaning. If you have insurance, we are happy to bill them directly instead.
